At work on our floor, one of our employees has one of those W'04 magnets on the outside of his door (not the inside, mind you). And another guy has a couple of 8 1/2 x 11 color pics of Bush and Laura Bush. Now everyone here should know that I am the biggest fan of President Clinton and is a big democratic supporter. But I don't feel the need to advertise it while at work. What makes these people think anyone gives a damn who they support?

Imo, I don't think your politics should be displayed at work. Talking about it is fine as long as you're talking to someone that agrees with you because if you don't, look out. You can lose friends that way.

2. Where is the supervision?

Work is not the place for this partisan showing, unless one works at a political campaign office.

I might bend the bosses ear and ask if it is acceptable to use office space for campaign posters, but I am a pretty brassy broad. Still, one might wonder if the management condones what could be considered contributing to a hostile workplace environment.

On the bright side, it is a sure sign that the bush* base is getting mighty anxious that their boy is slipping fast. Be happy in that
