Rick Man-on-Dog Santorum a no-show for jury duty
Jury duty mixup for Sen. Santorum
Friday, August 13, 2004

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum was a no-show last month for jury duty, but, according to his spokesperson, he didn't know that he had been summoned.

"The senator did not receive a summons that he was called to serve." Christine Shott, Santorum's deputy press secretary, said yesterday.

The summons requested that Santorum, R-Pa., report for jury duty July 28.

Shott said that Santorum had been traveling in the area that day. On July 31, he appeared at a political rally.

I guess it's hard to do you civic duty when you are a carpetbagger who does not live in the state you are supposed to represent. Or perhaps Ricky was just too busy stirring up the homophobes.

2. Doncha know....
the "rules" don't apply to Ricky-boy Sanctimonious.

Ricky says lawsuits must be capped, but when HIS wife was injured by a chiropractor, Ricky did not think the jury's award of $350,000 was too high.

3. For Republicans it's always a "joke" or "quip" or "mix-up"
