Unconfirmed ... Foreigners bought $12,000 of ammo from
I heard a rumor tonight (from an employee of a major retail chain I won't mention to protect that person's job) that foreigners bought $12,000 worth of ammunition from a Mid-Atlantic state branch of this chain and have since been apprehended and the manager of that location is either suspended or fired.

Has anyone else heard this?

Why is it a crime for a foreigner to buy ammo from Wal-Mart, Bi-Mart, or whatever? I've bought $100's of bucks worth of 9MM Winchester white-box at Wal-Mart and no one says boo.
