I don't care WHAT his reason was. He should fight the tax cut on its own sake, he shouldn't leave our men and women w/out the resources they need."

"seems to me they should have had the equipment when they went, not after they got there. There also should have been some planning done, like... an exit strategy!! Why was the president going to veto the first bill if this was SO important? Threatening to veto because the top 1% don't get the tax cut is pretty lame and show priorities.
Why didn't the first bill pass? why aren't there commercial talking about bush threatening to veto the bill?"

1. Be sure to tell her that Bush voted to veto the bill if it didn't include

everything he wanted. Meaning, he too would have left the troops w/o needed supplies. All that aside, troops still do not have all that is needed because of Halliburton.

3. Tell her how Bush is 'supporting' the troops

by cutting combat pay, cutting aid to military dependents, making sure Guardsmen and Reservists returning home have only 30 days of health care, how he's making wounded soldiers pay for their meals in the hospital-and see what kind of excuse she comes up with.
