Okay, I received this stupid email
Haven't had time to snopes it or debunk it yet but MAN I hate these:

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those who died on the 11th of
September, 2001....

> Thought you might like to know what happened in a little town north of Bakersfield, California. After you finish reading this, please forward this story on to others so that our nation and people around the world will know about those who laughed when they found out about the tragic events in New York, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon.

> On September 11th, a Budweiser employee was making a delivery to a convenience store in a California town named McFarland. He knew of the
tragedy that had occurred in New York when he entered the business to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, hooping and hollering to show their approval and support of this treacherous attack.
The Budweiser employee went to his truck, called his boss and told him of the ery upsetting event! He didn't feel he could be in that store with those horrible people. His boss asked him, "Do you think you could go in there long enough to pull every Budweiser product and item our beverage company sells there? We'll never deliver to them again."

The employee walked in, proceeded to pull every single product his beverage company provided and left with an incredible grin on his face.
He told them never to bother to call for a delivery again.
Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice for that community. Just letting you know how Kern County handled this situation.

>And Now The Rest Of The Story:

>It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him. Pepsi called his boss who told him to pull all Pepsi products as well!!! That would include Frito Lay, etc. Furthermore, word spread and all vendors followed suit! At last report, the store was closed indefinitely. Good old American Passive-Aggressive! BUTT Whoopin'!

>Pas! s this ong, America needs to know that we're all working together.

>God Bless America!!

18. No, it's not to waste time
1. Because reading it and ignoring it is like listening to a racist joke and not saying something against it.

2. I refuse to have my name attached anywhere to this kind of crap.

3. People who have received this email might benefit from hearing the truth.

4. I am a big believer in righting what I perceive to be a wrong - in this case it's the spreading of a lie.

5. This email is racist through and through and I just don't support that kind of thing.

6. I'm stubborn and foolish in that I believe that anyone who sends me a lie deserves to hear the truth from me.

You may read stuff like this and delete it but I don't. I never have. I've always replied to this kind of stuff. I won't sit by and do nothing.

11. Will this do?
<snip>
Thank you for taking the time to contact Anheuser-Busch.
Please know that we have investigated the matter and have found there is no truth to this story. We've checked extensively on this story in a number of different locations, with wholesalers and retail accounts and there is no report of a customer reacting in such a manner. Therefore, no product has been pulled from any retail account.

Like all Americans, we at Anheuser-Busch along with our wholesalers were shocked and saddened by the tragic and violent terrorist attack on our country. We keep the victims and survivors in our thoughts.

Your Friends at Anheuser-Busch

9. That would be "theft"
Just because a company has it's name on a product doesn't mean they can take it back once they sell it to a reseller.

Of course, it didn't happen.

to report that the delivery guy was taking back already paid for product.

I love these "Anonymous" super Americans. this is another chain email sent out by GOP operatives who can't spell:

past

along

===================================================================

This email is applying to the idiot class of Americans by making them go along with something they don't even know happend for sure or not.

The past 4 years have seemed like 1933 from what I learned in school.

All of these fake emails are like Nazi propaganda

14. I agree with you
It is so stupid to read crap like this and know that it's crap. The really bad thing, though, is that you can send back the truth and one person will still believe in the "super American", as you put it so eloquently, and pass it along.

Budweiser cares only for one color - green.

Besides, where was the press coverage? Why weren't the Arabs arrested and permanently detained? It holds no water at all!

It is so nice to be able to send back links proving this kind of crap wrong.

I was able to reply to all with the truth. I replied to the person who sent it to me and then to everyone on the thread.

I feel much better now.

I hate this kind of crap. I really do. I also hate that I can't get to Snopes. :(

25. Wait for it... you'll get replies...
"Who cares if it's not true? It's still the RIGHT THING TO DO!"

I stopped responding to this sort of thing. People don't care if it's true or not, and some have even accused snopes.com of being a "liberal site" that only debunks things that god-fearin-beer-drinkin Amurricans knows are true.

your off the mailing lists of these idiots because they don't like being told the truth.

So be sure to educate the victims of this mailing to always verify any email like this. Esp because soon the mailers will be too afraid to include you in the send list. :D

13. think about the thought process behind that one
even if this were remotely true:

1. A-Rabs hootin' and hollerin'
How did he know they were A-Rabs?
WHO at Budweiser would just take his word for it?

2. Passive-Aggressive is not something to be proud of - ask your therapist

3. Burned any witches lately? Were those A-Rabs sacrificing goats too? Gosh, this guy would like to believe that he punished some mealy unAmerican A-Rabs for hootin' and hollerin' by putting them out of business and calling down the mighty Budweiser and Frito Lay corporation, merely because he said so.

It is sad that whatever yokel sent that to you thinks that this kind of pissbrained story is what America stands for.

20. For good measure with my reply I would add.
Can you imagine the poison and hatred some people have to be able to manufacture something like this and then want to spread it as much as possible ? To me they are as responsible for the terrorism in the world as the 9/11 hijackers.

And then of course add " have a good day "

21. On its face, it is bogus as the inventory in the store is owned
by the store and removing it without compensation would be theft. The police would have put a halt to this "misunderstanding" toot sweet. Bud sucks, so if I were the store owner I would have helped carry it out. If this were in Texas, the Bud employee would be pushing up daisies before much could happen.

22. Thank each and everyone of you
I cut an pasted extensively from this tread to create a Word document that I have emailed to myself at work. I want to be prepared when it hits work (and it will hit work.) I copied the links to snopes and truthorfiction. I touched on the illogical point that a company representative could just remove bought and paid for merchandise and the fact that anyone can know for sure that another human being is of a specified race or ehnicity metely be skin color. I used your text to point out how un-American this is. Thank you again

And a special thank to you with the 6-point reason for rebuttal. You above everyone inspired me to be prepared.

Unfortunately not a one of you will receive the credit you so richly deserved except in my heart.

23. The interesting thing about this story is that some people seem to
think it's inspiring.

A man walks into a convenience store to find two Arab-looking men laughing. He steals their merchandise and has them black-listed, putting them out of business.

It's a charming little story of racial hatred and fascist bullying. One step away from internment camps. The fact that the story is myth isn't so interesting to me. That the story has a supportive audience is disturbing.
