Cleland "losing it"?
that's the spin I'm hearing on local repug board. If Kerry is "wild-eyed"....can only imagine what they'll be saying about Max.

Hope they don't spin this one like they did Dean.

1. Wild-eyed no longer has any meaning to those idiots.
Anyone marginally anti-Bush is "wild-eyed" when they open their mouths.

Just ignore it, Democrats can't win with these morons.

8. It's what totalitarians always try to pull
And for some of the more gullible citizens, it works. When a dissident can't be gainsaid, the next best expedient is to say that he's crazy or out of control. The Soviets did it to Solzhenitsyn, Sakharov, and others. The Republicans, for all their public statements against the Communists, have found communistic tactics to be quite useful.

Wait and watch: Someone will come out, banging his shoe on a lectern and spewing "We will bury you!"

9. All veterans are "troubled" or have "mental problems"
according to the Republicans. They've played this game for years.

10. Don't worry about it
Bush and his cronies will spin anything. There's nothing that will be immune to the GOP spin machine.

Cleland's delivery of the letter wasn't aimed the the starry-eyed Bush worshipers. It was aimed at the base, swing voters and vets.

It's a damning photo op that is juicy enough to get a ton of air play.

Kerry took the lemons flung by Bush's switft boat vets and made lemonade. Enjoy it, and stay away from the GOP psychos. Block Fox News on your TV. I did over a year ago, and I've never missed it.

12. So typical of these repukes...
It is always the same game plan. Smear, and once they feel they can't get anymore out of that they say the person has mental illness. All the time, bar none!

13. They'll be losing it.....
Just posted http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=514&e=2&u=/ap/20040825/ap_on_el_pr/veterans_group_bush

"Encountering a permanent roadblock to Bush's ranch, Cleland left without turning over the letter to anyone.

The Bush lawyer, Benjamin Ginsberg, wrote in a resignation letter released by the campaign: "I cannot begin to express my sadness that my legal representations have become a distraction from the critical issues at hand in this election."

18. That's just like the way they went berzerko over Dean's "alleged" scream
They magnify and exaggerate whatever suits their feeble purposes. Don't put any creedence in anything they say because everything they say is a pack of lies. They learned integrity from Gingrich, so what do you expect.
