The Repugs don't want us fags to have any civil rights, and some don't even want us to exist, yet this band of nuts stands by their party and talk about making a change. Where's the change going to take place? After Asscrack, Frist, Santorum, McConnel, DeLay, Lott, etc. are dead?

They are making a dignified effort to be part of the Republican Party. I think the word he used was better than "dignified", but I can't think of it. Someone, he said, should be doing it as theoretically both parties should have a cross section of our society.

Where is it written that they have to be conservatives? Here in Illinois the Republicans have been a party of moderates, after all. The fire eaters are trying to destroy that, of course, and they are doing a damn good job of it.

Unfortunately, he told me, the Republican Party isn't open to their dignified effort. I think you will see a lot of Log Cabin Republicans voting for Kerry this time around.
