Mrs. Kerry is outsourcing jobs
Aug. 30, 2004 12:00 AM

I think I'd give John Kerry more than a passing glance if he'd answer one question about his new jobs plans: Has his wife closed her businesses and plants overseas and moved those jobs here?

If so, I'll consider it a good thing. If it hasn't happened, he can't really think I'll listen to his digs at the present administration for jobs moving overseas. His wife is part of the problem, not the solution.
----------------------

I can't believe that there are some on the right that are still pushing this issue...how clueless are these people...

1. Don't they realize...
that she has nothing to do with the day to day operations of the company...she doesn't own enough shares to do something like that...

7. BTW
The "out-sourcing" allegations are 100% false.

The Heinz company has had factories in many countries over seas -- manufacturing food products that are consumed in that country.

Look at this
Heinz Singapore
Major Product Lines: chili sauces/ketchup/preserved beans/soy sauces.

Heinz Thailand
Major Product Lines: chili sauce/ketchup/oyster sauce.

Heinz Indonesia
Major Product Lines: chili sauce/fruit drink concentrates/
ketchup/soy sauces.

Heinz Phillipines
Major Product Lines: banana ketchup/hot sauce/sweet chili sauce/tomato ketchup.

To imply that Kerry/Heinz is being hypocritical and is involved in outsourcing is pure deception. Products for the American market are NOT made in other countries.

Now look at Heinz USA
Factories: Atlanta, Georgia; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Chatsworth, California; Dallas, Texas; Escalon, California; Fremont, Ohio; Holland, Michigan; Irvine, California; Jacksonville, Florida; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Mason, Ohio; Muscatine, Iowa; Northbrook, Illinois; Pennsauken, New Jersey; Phoenix, Arizona; Stockton, California; Westburyport, Massachusetts
Major Product Lines: beans/bouillon/cheese pouches/condiments/dry soup mixes/entrees/fine desserts/gravies/hot-fill packaged foods/ketchup/pasta and pasta sauce/peanut butter and jelly/pickles/pureed foods/relishes/sauces/soups/tomato products/vinegar.
Brand Names and Trademarks: Aunt Millies/Bell 'Orto/Bella Rosa/Chatsworth/Chef Francisco/Christina/Christoforo Columbo/Classico/Emma Bella/Heinz/Mrs. Grass/Prince/
6-in-1/Squeezers/Wylers Bouillon/Wylers Soup Starter.

No more truth to this BS than there is to the Swift Boat Liars BS. It is a misrepresentation of the facts. Imagine that!

2. why are you surprised?
I bet a large percentage of Americans think that the Sudan offered Osama bin Laden's head to Bill Clinton on a platter 3 times and that Clinton let Mohammed Atta go... it's been debunked a million and 1 times, but it's still out there.

8. I heard a guy on the radio today talking about Bush's missing years
In 'Nam - quoting the GQ article - he thought it was true!!

I called in afterward and told the host it was a spoof (Jim Braud in Boston - he's a leftie and he loved it).
