Why isn't PNAC brought up?
I have hardly heard it mentioned in the mainstream media, and most people do not even know what it is, the people behind it, and how this administration seems to be using it as a guide

1. Because PNAC IS the media?
The six neocons who own our media are probably PNACers.

2. people wont believe it...
karl rove could paint himself purple and dance in the streets naked singing PNAC days are here again. and no one would believe it - they can be a blatant as they want and most people say oh but not in america, it isnt possible here.

I'm British - don't you guys read Orwell in High School here? Don't you study how the third reich rose to power on the backs of ordinary germans who are just like ordinary americans and never believed that it could ever happen there - even as the death camps were next door to them, they still never believed it? Are you bloody americans going to ruin what you have and piss on the world?

WAKE UP

4. absolutely right
PNAC has been played as an issue only for "conspiracy buffs," and so, like all matters that point towards conspiracy, has been successfully excised from the American mainstream.

7. Yeah, we do that stuff here
but Orwell is interpreted as anti-communist and the 3rd Reich is studied simply in the light of "we took out the evil-doers." American primary school education is very much like a comic book.

3. That includes the press...
...most of which is too stupid, lazy or bought-off to give a shit about the PNAC or anything else.

5. I learned about it on Nightline (ABC) w/Ted Koppel
Just after the 2000 election fiasco, just before the invasion.

Even Ted Koppel seemed utterly stunned by the whole thing, but it was absolutely chilling hearing how matter-of-fact Wm Kristol was about it, and how OPEN and CANDID they were about their nefarious plots for world domination.

I have never been so absolutely horrified by anything since first learning of the Holocaust as a child.

When the neocons started Step One: Invasion of Iraq, I thought, OMG, here we go into the pit of hell.....

6. The fact that Bush foreign policy so closely mirrors the PNAC agenda
has been dismissed as merely another coincidental oddity. Amazing how many of those swirl around this administration.
