Bush's platform: Destroy Civil Rights, continue the Charade against Terror
I had to see Bush's speech last night. I noticed it wasn't really about education, the economy, definitely not about Osama and the conflict against him. Bush last night has shown himself to be a bigot. We do not need a bigot in the White House. We need a President who will fight for Pluralism, Equality (and that means equal rights for all regardless of gender, religion, or lifestyle, and we need a President who will fight for Justice.

As I look back on the President's speech last night I can't help but remember how many times he was talking about marriage and 'activist' Judges. This is what we our defending our nation from?! I am sick of hearing that this is a 'threat' to marriage.

Bush also endorsed the countries that are still in some way allies to terrorism. If these ties to the terrorists were truly broken, then Al Qaeda and many Terrorist groups would die off pretty fast because they need to be harbored and supported.

Bush also said he would continue to appoint the type of people he did just like in his first term. So in other words we are going to have more bigots running the country. More Ashcrofts, more Pryors, with people like this our country may as well be a Plutocratic Corporate Theocracy.

I hope the Bush supporters wake up. Having a Bigot in the White House for two terms, surrounded by other bigots, in an ever expanding war could spell the end for our Democracy. When 11/2 comes along, I hope every American will make the right decision, and vote against Bush.
