I just meant that it doesnt hurt for the public to be reminded of a successful president. It does NOT help us for Clinton to worm his way in to publicity just to draw attention to himself, but nobody could argue that was the case here.

For better or worse, Clinton is our "Reagan", but he doesn't have to die to evoke the nostagila for our better days. Just get some sympathetic coverage.


The timing may be a little less than ideal, but you can't expect the guy to need surgery on command.
