1. It's gotten to be pretty "routine" (as surgery goes, anyway)
He'll be in my thoughts. I admire him greatly. Wish we had some of his chutzpah to clone onto Kerry to deal with the ZellNut party.

4. Heart By-Pass
this looks like a little more serious then originally was thought. A Quad by-pass is more serious then a stent like Cheney had done. Probably had a a high Cholesterol number too.

And when shrub was on his show he made some lame ass comments about Dave's surgery. He's a bonafide ass.

After President Clinton heals up and feels better, I'll be waiting for his next appearance on Letterman. I hope Dave can get in touch with Bill to lend some encouraging words.

9. surgery team
when Letterman came back, he brought his entire surgery team on the show. He actually had tears in his eyes when he introduced them. Class!!!
