If you could impeach either Bush or Cheney, but not both, who do you pick?

I see it like this:

By impeaching Bush, you're removing the "nice face" of this administration, and revealing them as the horrible people they are.

But by impeaching Cheney, you removing the man that's arguably the most powerful figure in the administration, and leaving Bush to flounder on his own without Dick the Human Safety Net.

So if you could only pick one, who goes?

7. I pick Cheney.

Immensely more powerful and evil than King George. One of the main reasons I DON'T want Bush impeached is because that does nothing but give Cheney the presidency. And impeaching anyone on down would give Rumsfeld and Ashcroft a shot at the presidency, the idea of which sends chills down my spine.

No question about who to pick. Cheney is the driving force right now. Bush does not have the smarts to be president without someone to guide him. I have lived under Gov. Bush in Texas, and he was nothing special, just like now, so the answer is that Bush needs someone to guide him. Remember the old saying as applied to Bush, the son, Its my way or the hiway.

Impeach and remove the nice face. That would be more effective. If Cheney were impeached and removed from office, they could pick from any number of other hard-assed Republican pricks to run the country behind the scenes like Cheney. But if Cheney were front and center it would be so much more difficult to sell their agenda to the public. Cheney's too mean-spirited in personality. He's just like Bob Dole, but way worse. Plus you impeach Bush and that forces them to put Cheney in the White House and whoever they pick as VP will have no real value or function for the Repugs. Bush's only value is his bogus "compassion" and supposed "everyman" personality. I say let the face of the Republican party look like the mean old rich white corporate executive dude that looks like he's just itching to downsize some middle class workers.
