And yet 2 of the most prestigious corporations the world can't make these media portals work. Hell no, it's a plan. Using pure Capitalist logic it would make sense just to let liberals have their share of whatever market they can earn but the behavior of Republican monopolists prove the market's broken.

1. That was the point I made
to them in one of my emails. They will never win over the Fox audience and they will lose us. It seems that what is most important is getting * in office to continue his policies not their share of viewers. GE cares more about getting the contracts than in news and I guess Time Warner plans on CNN being a smaller part of their empire.

2. I'm convinced there is only one propaganda machine, but we are seeing

the allusion of three. They advertise on each other, share spots with their hosts appearing as guests on each others shows, sit on some round-table panels of the so-called competitors.

There is no difference. They are not really serious about competition, except that the allusion may not have been revealed to advertisers - so there is a tiny little bit of fight still around for advertising revenue and stats.

If CNN, USA Today, and Time (do I have it right) form a troika, and FOX and NBC have their trokas with newspapers and magazines, why can't the three cable operators also be a troika - they are all saying THE SAME THING - ALL RIGHT WING.

3. Their mission isn't to beat Fox outright...
They've got a LOT more money riding on their ability to push warheads and deregulation bills through their republican buddies in congress and the white house.

4. The lack of a real liberal media outlet proves capitalist system is broke
Why are they avoiding profit? They destroyed Iraq's infrastructure to get to ground zero. They act more like the "dreaded Ferenghi" than Christian saints and yet they leave all this potential profit unexploited? Something is wrong with this business model.
