When Kerry wins, can we play the Republicans' game...
...and blame everything bad that happens on the * administration? And if the Republicans don't shut up and toe the line, can we call them traitors and question their patriotism? Can the Christian Left question the faith of the Christian Right? Or does copying hypocrisy equal hypocrisy?

1. Only if we gain control of the House or the Senate, or both!
Let the Christian right and left fight their own battles!

7. Yeah, separation of church and state.
I'm an atheist, but I do admire certain liberal Christians. Since religion is not likely to disappear, I'd much rather the compassionate ones be in the majority and lead the greedy, self-centered ones to a more compassionate place. Liberal Christianity is sorely needed in America. The RW fundy types certainly aren't going to listen to the likes of me.

3. I think we need to be hard and aggressive to push these fascists back
as deep into the past tense and into our tragic history as possible.

We need to bash them as corrupt incompetent greedy pigs who are relegated to the nasty dustbins of history

4. Trust the President

If you question the President, you're helping the terrorists. I intend to make a list and memorize it and spew it at them every chance I get!

5. Oh, I am SO torn by this one....*sigh* Part of me (the very human part)
wants to rant and rave and blame everything on Chimpy for at least the next...oh....ten to twelve years...just to get back at these filthy motherfuckers for the dozen years of Clinton-bashing we've had to endure.
The rational, tolerant, Christian side of me says, don't stoop to their level.

But DAMMIT, it IS all their fault, they ARE evil filth, their public piety IS suspect, their accusations of 'anti-Americanism' DO indicate incipient fascism, their trashing of the Constitution IS treasonous, and THEY SUCK!!!!!
SO THERE!

8. Why is that?
What they've done...you feel no anger?

I consider myself quite even-keeled, yet this administration, LIKE NO OTHER BEFORE IT, made me question my beliefs.

I guess I'm curious, from you, as to how you escaped that. I'd love to know. Perhaps I can learn something.

11. IRAQ
Whatever goes wrong in Iraq WILL be the Dumbass Dubya Regime's fault. No rational Administration would have invaded Iraq, and there is not much chance of a "good" solution to this mess. The situation is so bad that if the Iraqis vote themselves an Iranian-style theocracy next year, it would be one of the better possible outcomes! :scared:
