Inotice that the people posting all the freeper offal over here all have low post counts too: guys, stop it. I realize it's a newbie mistake. Cut it out, now, before all there is on the GD frontpage is stuff like "OMG! I can't believe what the freepers are saying about ________!"

Well, I can believe it. We all know that FR is a depot for lowlifes, ammunition fetishists, and other assorted scum. Point made, point taken. In fact, point taken a thousandfold. Enough. Between posting about, oh, say....Tom DeLay and freerepublic.com. We can keep an eye on the fascistic machinations of the established, enfranchised right by shining a light on guys like Tom DeLay or whoever.

When we post about impotent fringe sites like freerepublic.com (and especially when we include a link), we increase web traffic towards a right-wing website, thus giving them more popularity, and distorting the view of them in the mainstream...it legitimizes them, in other words. We don't want that. Remember, Alexa tracks all those webhits.

When we keep an eye on the sickos who can make a real difference in our lives like Grover Norquist or Tom DeLay, it's a far cry from tracking the moves of some pistol-totin' thumbsucker decrying the UN in his pajamas in some fetid basement in West Virginia. well you get the idea...ON OUR FRONT PAGE...

I repeat... if it's a legitimate story, there will be OTHER mainstream sources that have it as well..

Until then, it's a RUMOR...
