ya know, if Peter Jennings' bank account capped at 32k and then starting counting backward and when he pointed it out to the bank they said "oh we fixed it now", casually...and then, he asked are they sure they have accounted for all of the missing monies, since the account was debiting by itself all day...and the bank's response was they could not verify the true amount of monies due to not having an account audit system....

That's the issue to me. It's not a partisan issue, it's that we have the most FUCKED election system and nothing but bullshit and excuses from every official in the political food chain.

Supposedly this is a Republic and this is our one big chance to give our say. Yet over and over officials from the local to the national level pussyfoot around with the election system.

The reality is this system is so fucked, so bad, if it was any sort of other technological design, from missile systems to electronic banking to an MRI scanner...the civil lawsuits, firings, investigations and legislative probes would be massive.

Yet, when we question this, now ongoing for years, we are conspiracy theorists.

1. Yeppers. Personally, I could give a rip about this election...

... at this point, because (1) Bush should have to take responsibility for what he hath sown, and (2) the country would likely resemble Fallujah if the election results were overturned at this point, anyway.

I just want the voting problems revealed in this election brought to light, and something done about them ASAP -- in order to avoid the same damn problems 2 years from now.

Jennings has become more and more disappointing as time goes on. I'm sick of the news media (esp broadcast and cable) supporting all the "official (and WRONG) stories" on things. Sick, sick, sick, SICK of it.
