Listening to "The World" on public radio, quoted a soldier
talking about Iraqi rebels - called them cowards, "why don't they come out and fight us?"
Duh?

3. considering they've held the U.S. Military at bay for several months now..
...without Tanks, Jets, missles etc.....I think he picked the wrong word to describe them. Minimally, I'd have said they were determined and very clever - but not cowards.

5. Come to think of it, I think Bill Mahr got fired from ABC for
saying it is cowardly to drop bombs on people from a safe distance.

4. Yes Cowards...
come out and stand face to face with an M1A1 Tank. I guess this guy was raised on John Wayne and took it to heart.

7. With front line soldiers
With front line soldiers like this and generals who are guided by God and think they are fighting Satan make it very difficult to support the troops.

9. I was listening to that today also
I'm not sure it was the same guy, but he pronounced "caches"

Ka-shays

The word is cache -- Pronunciation Key (kash)

1. A hiding place used especially for storing provisions.
2. A place for concealment and safekeeping, as of valuables.
3. A store of goods or valuables concealed in a hiding place: maintained a cache of food in case of emergencies.

Uh . . . ca·chet -- Pronunciation Key (ka-shay)

1. A mark or quality, as of distinction, individuality, or authenticity: “Federal courts have a certain cachet which state courts lack” (Christian Science Monitor).
2. A seal on a document, such as a letter.
3. A commemorative design stamped on an envelope to mark a postal or philatelic event.
4. A motto forming part of a postal cancellation.
5. A kind of wafer capsule formerly used by pharmacists for presenting an unpleasant-tasting drug.

Sorry to be picky, but it just sounded so stoopid.
