It's official. GWB is making his first "state" visit to Canada on Nov.30. This is a man who is basically unwelcome anywhere on earth, except perhaps darkest Africa. (But only long enough for an elephant to have an erection. Then it's "Get e'm outa here before people show up.")

Now. We all know this is part of his crass post-election attempt to "mend fences" with world leaders who didn't buy into his, um...for lack of a better term, "policy" in Iraq. And we all know PM Paul Martin is going to be forced to play the "diplomat"...ie. act "nice" for fear of pissing off the petty, immature retard/monkey, currently the most dangerous individual on the planet. (His competition, OBL, is holed up in a cave. Rather ineffectual I'd say.)

I'm in Vancouver. The costs involved for me to get on a plane and join the protest are very prohibitive. I'll do what I can do from here. But my technicolour pipe dream: that the 150,000 people who stood on Parliament Hill on Sept. 13, 2001 in a candle light vigil in solidarity with the American people after the WTC disaster, will drop the candles and join what will hopefully be a massive protest.

TO OUR AMERICAN FRIENDS: It's sad but true. The most effective opposition you currently have against this man comes from outside you're borders. For those of you in Illinois, Michigan, NY state, New England, et al, feel free to join in. It'll only be a day trip for most of you, and we don't fingerprint or take pictures of you at the border.

Let's do it. The man's not welcome here. Or anywhere. And rightfully so.

(Humourous note: look closely at the link provided. Work you way 3/4's of the way along. You'll notice even the rank and file database administrators at Canada's largest newspaper call him shrub.)

2. Please please please.
All our friends to the North, please give the criminal a welcome the world won't forget. Let it be Canada to lead the world in rejecting this evil man. Maybe the world against bushco can win. America alone can't seem to get rid this a-hole.

3. I'd be surprised if it wasn't in Ottawa
It would cost me way too much to fly out there, unfortunatly.

7. If you remember...
the last time Bush was in Canada was not for a "state" visit, but for a G8 conference. Because of his - not the other members, but HIS - raging unpopularity, it had to be held up in the Rockies outside of Calgary. Air Force One landed in Calgary, a chopper whisked him into the mountains for the meetings, then got him outa' there. Kinda' like Central London, only with MOUNTAINS.

It's gonna be Ottawa, and I'm waiting in humour to see what cunning security plans they'll use this time.

5. Oh, won't you please keep him? He's almost housetrained, and he's
totally harmless if he is kept in a country that has no electronic voting machines.

Pretty please?

9. At least they won't let him behind the wheel of a motor vehicle
With two DUI's, they can deny him the priveledge.

11. On Randi today, she read a column by a Canadian
journalist who stated that Canada couldn't arrest *W for war crimes on an official state visit because he has diplomatic immunity, but if he were ever to cross the border as a private citizen, like to go fishing, he could be arrested and charged as a war criminal.

I found it odd that anyone is even thinking this way. So I wonder if any other foreign countries are exploring their options to charge him with war crimes?
