Don't forget that Congress.org needs a lot of posts tonight.
www.congress.org
You can email your congressmen, print off your letter, or you can have it hand-delivered for $4.95.

You have the option of having it posted online without your name showing at the site, though your congressmen will see it.

Read some of the letters. We have to have the UN in there now. Our country is not going to be able to afford all this. I watched Krugman on Russert (CNBC) again tonight.

I believe him, we have to stop this mad spending. Congressmen do read that site to get a feel of things. I know that my two senators do. Sometimes seeing a letter to thing online really makes an impression on them.

Go there now, write your letter!
B-)

2. I see a few of the "wonderful Bush" notes going up.
Like "what a good man he is", etc, and so forth. Don't want us to neglect our duty. I just think we can do more. People do read them and notice.

5. Good for you.
You know what they say, if you keep repeating something often enough....?

People really notice what is there. I never realized it until Nelson's aide told me. Not that he cares, but he notices....}(

7. Here is a good one! Among other good ones.
http://www.congress.org/congressorg/bio/userletter/?letter_id=44377761&content_dir=congressorg

SNIP....:"It is time for the American people to be told how much money is flowing from its treasury to the Bush family trust fund through the Carlyle Group (the nation's fifth largest defense contractor). George Herbert Walker Bush is a major partner in Carlyle. The family's conflict of interest is ghoulish and scandalous, earning profit from every soldier's wound, every life lost, every family decimated through this war for empire and greed...."

9. Thanks for the information. Not a bunch of happy people
there. Do you think that most repubs don't know that site is there? Or are the polls as misleading as the president?

10. Wrote my Repub Senator
The other two, I don't even need to worry about. I'll wait until they say something wonderful, then email them a thank you.

But I told the other one that he needed to seriously think over his course of action on voting to release any money and that his election would likely depend on his response. Laid out all the questions that came out of this speech and said that I don't want to take one more dollar out of our children's health and education in order to give it to Bush's corporate cronies. I bet he gets ALOT of angry responses tomorrow!
