2. This is why the fight cannot be Democrats vs. Republicans
Or Left versus right.

It has GOT to be anti-fascists vs. fascists. If you're a Democrat doing anything to support a fascist administration, you're part of the problem.

6. Biden
I've always been a Joe Biden fan until now ... watching CSpan and he's sickening me. When do Democrats finally realize if they can stand erect, they assumably have a BACKBONE. I've had it ... listened to Dodd, Biden ... let's get rid of them. Elect Democrats who are not fat-ass politicos who sit and pontificate and voice "problems" with Bush/Cheney and now Condisleez and then vote to confirm. Democratic Senators and Representatives ... please, don't continue to let us down. Fight for us.

4. we MUST VOTE THEM OUT
Vote people in who represent the Democrats, NOT republicans

what makes this even more distasteful, is they talk out of both sides of their mouth

No principles

They will not get my vote ever again, I DO NOT FORGET

Thank God For Barbara Boxer

7. I say also, "Thank God for Senator Boxer!"
I live in Ohio and will be eternally thankful for Senator Boxer. I'd support this woman of courage and intelligence for President over any of these roll-over Democratic idiots -- Kerry, Biden, Dodd. And, the roll-over Repugs who had the chance to challenge Bush, namely Hagel. Let's get rid of all of them and elect people who believe in our interests.

5. "They'll win anyhow, so I will just concede."
I don't get it. I really just don't get it. Especially if you spend your time at the confirmation hearing telling Condi she isn't qualified. It's not like you're hiding your opinion from anyone to protect yourself. Just vote no. Maybe if Bush were barely squeaking by with narrow margins instead of overwhelming victories, more people would being standing up.

That's not leadership. That's surrender.

I agree. Why don't they just vote NO. Or, just put a "hold"? So many questions and no answers from Rice. 9/11 Commission? They wrote a book ... did anyone read it?
I don't get it either. I'm fed up with Democratic Senators and Representatives who raise questions and then are content with non-answers and just continue to let us down. Why don't more of them have the courage of Sen. Boxer and Rep. Conyers??
I don't care how many trips Biden has made to Iraq ... I don't care that Kerry visited Iraq and can pronounce the names of key cities in Iraq ... just vote NO to Rice.

would count like a no vote w/o all the negative baggage. Cowardly, but not so much as an "aye." She didn't answer questions.
