BTW, pollkatz has nut been updated since the Zogby, CNN/Time (52 percent) and Ipsos-Reid (52 percent) polls came out. When those get posted the decline will really be evident.

9. Maybe I'm being too optimistic but...

I don't think the neocons *caused* 9-11, I think they were just lucky enough to see it coming so they could let it happen and take full advantage of it. With all of the scrutiny on the intelligence & national defense services, it's going to be a lot harder to just "let" something happen again, provided there is something in the works.

Iraq, the other "spike": He's played just about every war card imaginable. I don't think Congress will go for another invasion before the election.
