Cheers to Oprah for featuring Barack Obama today!
Jeers to her for featuring Schwarzenneger when he ran for Gov. AND for featuring Condi on a show about women of excellence.

Featuring Obama almost negates one of these but not both. She still has a lot to make up for as far as I'm concerned.

1. It is fitting
It is fitting that on the eve of Bu$h's 2nd innagural, Oprah is introducing Obama to America.

I think it would be safe to say that it was mostly Democrats that heard Obama's speech at the DNC Convention. Oprah's show is watched by many more people and will introduce Obama to those Security/Soccer Mom's.

4. Absolutely!
Now if we could get her to feature how the election was stolen(again) or other noted Democrats that soccer/suburban moms should be aware of...

10. It really must be chapping her
butt the way the "election" went down. She made at least two huge digs at bush when she did her voting awareness show.

There really were a LOT of votes for K/E!

3. I loved it when she was interviewing Condi
and Condi was positively gushing over Bush like a teenager with a crush. Her eyes were all sparkly. It was embarrassing.

5. Oprah made up for the gropenator,
imo, when she had her Oprah Voting Party in October of last year..I'm sure that got a lot of Dem voters registered and out to the polls.

Please, Oprah insured her place in hell when she sucked up to * in 2000
Oprah is all about Oprah. Aside from public pandering she has no memory of how close she came to a very different life. Obamaa is big so Oprah has him on (after the election so as not to offend her corporate sponsors).

If Oprah gave a shit about the country she'd work to save it.

One can only tell another's priorities from what they do, not what they say.

12. I'm not going to disagree with you
because I get pissed at her for the same reasons. She has a great deal of power in the media--what is she doing with it? Giveaways of her favorite things, free cars, and shows where she falls all over herself fawning over celebrities.

I just thought I would give her a gold star for what I thought was a good thing--given what she doesn't do that makes me angry.

I missed her sucking up to *. Was he on the show?
