(Disclaimer, I am a KERRY supporter who does not gratuitously bash other Dems and who naively regards this post as "reporting", fwiw.)

LIMBOsevic long ago coined his version for opposite-camp-disruptor as "seminar callers," in his case, Dems/Libs who manage to get past the screeners and onto the air to make a Dem/Lib point. "Dr" Laurasevic has HER name, "agendized callers"-----like she and all the wingnuts DON'T have an agenda, hah!

So first LIMBO went into a long set-up, describing yet again what "seminar callers" are, like, that we Dems actually go to "seminars" to learn how to make disruptive calls. Then Part 2, how us run-of-the-mill-Dems are just too "full of hate" and unreason, that we might make it onto the air but lack the self-control and intelligence to make our points and accomplish our mission, instead disintegrating into our HATE and LASHING OUT and UNREASON.

Then, Part 3, which I had never heard him do before. He said that he thinks he has spotted a new breed of "seminar caller," DEAN supporters. Then he went out of his way to contrast us-DUMB-Dems with the DEAN-"seminar-caller", saying that UNLIKE US, the DEAN callers are very POLITE, REASONABLE, COURTEOUS, COMPLEMENTARY OF LIMBO, saying ever-so loverly, "Mr (LIMBOsevic), you MIGHT HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD one of Dr DEAN's positions..." and that they would go on to EXPLAIN and then ASK HIM WHAT HE THINKS about Dr DEAN's most enlightened position.

O.K., did only the tiniest shading of language that might be considered "bashing".

1. What I'm Submitting for Discussion Here Is

the weeks of (disinformation? is it?) on the part of ROVEian cable yakkers to the effect that DEAN is their dream candidate for the purpose of a total Shrub victory.

LIMBOsevic did not use even the NUANCE of his usual snideness, ridicule, or double-meaning as he gave his portrait of the so-called DEAN-callers.

2. Wildcats

I haven't had much time to listen to The Big Fat Idiot lately.

I think what you're seeing here is typical "wildcat" behavior .. people coordinating efforts with little or no assistance from Dean campaign headquarters. There may be a blog or a website to coordinate the discussion, with tips on how to talk to The Big Fat Idiot in a way that appeals to Rush's ego. I'd be surprised if the Dean campaign even knew about it.

Why act this way with Rush Limbaugh? To my mind it's something of a Pascal's Wager: if we don't act, he's going to trash us. If we try to correct Rush, and we're wrong, he's going to trash us. If we try to correct Rush, and he changes his views, then we might get some of his fans to give Dean a second look. Doesn't matter during the primary; might matter during the general election.

(Disclaimer: I'm a Dean wildcat myself, in touch with other wildcats. This is only speculation based on how I know we tend to coordinate things.)
