Why risk your life to vote when the American puppet is fixed to win?

It does seem to be asking a lot to encourage Iraqis to vote when their vote won't count anyway. What are the chances of anyone but Allawi winning? Or whover Bush wants in now? I'm going to be, well let's say, skeptical about the results. I can't see any reason I would walk across the street to vote in Iraq, let alone risk my life to vote.

Guess they haven't seen whats taken place in the US in 2000 and 04. Hell yes...the fix is in,Allawi will probably get 100% of the vote like SH did last time.

3. One more tidbit..

Heard on CNN this morning, most Iraqis think they are voting for a President. They don't even know WHO or WHAT they are voting for. When told it was just a group of representative people <with no names available right now> they seemed more reluctant to vote. Can't say I'm surprised at learning this. What a joke this is!!

I've been very skeptical about the polls I've been hearing that say 80% of Iraqis are expected to vote. Just didn't sound right to me, and then I read Riverbend's site, and it all made sense.

This election is going to be about as legitimate as our own was.

7. I wonder exactly how we are "encouraging" the Iraqis to vote

As a previous post says, Iraqis are being threatened if they don't vote. The resistance is threatening Iraqis if they vote. Our media report that, and I believe it. It's pathtetic that our "media" are not reporting on the things that were reported in the RiverBend blog. This country once had a free and honorable media. We don't anymore.
