NBC nightly news reporting that a ceasefire will be announced tomorrow in Shark El Sheik, Egypt!

On BBC World, there was Kindasleazzy standing next to Sharon, shaking hands, and the news line was that Israel and Palestine had forged a truce, with US "encouragement."

Translation: The USA had nothing to do with this truce, but wants to be seen in photo ops as part of the process.

Also, Kindaleezzy looks like an ad from a Randian, 1940's secretarial school. Ugghhh.

I think Bush threatened to cut or else that and then offered $$$ to Palestine's new Prez. That is my take on the cease fire. Bush wants a legacy and will try and buy it with our money.

Ceasefires can not stop individuals from shooting patricularly on the Palestinian side where you don't have regular forces and Israel's promise to cease building in the OT wasn't worth the breath it took to utter.

Maybe just a cynic but I don't see peace between the Palestinians and Israelis anytime soon
