The reason we can expect Bush's poll numbers to go down....
This is really the first "negative" story about Bush in a long time, at least since 9/11. Most people get their news from TV and there has been nothing on TV for them to disagree with about Bush, until now. The last few days have educated much of the voting public. They will not be so gung-ho in supporting Bush from this day forward. The longer the press focuses on Bush's transgressions and lies, the more his polls will sink. If this goes on another week, I would expect his numbers to be at about 50% approval. Then we have a fair fight.

1. And Bush's "honesty" is his strongest asset
so if that goes, he's in big trouble.

2. I just wonder what the response will be...
I know Rove doesn't play fair, so what happens now? We miraculously find WMD's and this blows over? We have to invade Iran? The Gay Marriage Amendment? Something must be coming down the pike to try to change the focus.

3. If Bush's Poll Go South
we can expect another war to raise his poll numbers.

Iran?

North Korea?

Syria?

Be afraid.... Be very afraid...

4. Let's see: they tried Liberia. Congress bucked.
They tried a trip to Africa.Foreign relations disaster obvious to those who followed it. So what, to those who didn't.
They tried to "support" Dean. No sale.
What else?

Meanwhile under the radar, they ARE accomplishing things. Overtime for 8 million in the tank.No stress injuries to be reported. More jobs lost. Trying to Christianize/privatize Head Start.Medicare swiss cheese plan benefits drug/insurance companies. Oil from Iraq flowing without benefitting Iraqis.

HEADS UP FOLKS. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY ISSUE.

But it is nice to have his integrity questioned.

5. Also, the Congressional 9/11 Investigation
is supposed to issue its report in the next couple of weeks. That apparently won't help their numbers, either, since they have tried so hard to keep it under wraps.

And the "Independent" 9/11 Commission is staying in the news, too.
