...has been in talks this week with the Georgia Democratic party about running for Zell Miller's seat.

This seems to confirm what Lt. Governor Mark Taylor told me several weeks ago.

Not saying this is good or bad, just reporting...

... a week later I was told he was still considering. Now comes this report.

Personally, I prefer Shirley Franklin.

Alas, the suffering people of Atlanta need Shirley Franklin to sweep up after Bill Campbell. We can't spare her to take Zell's befouled Senate seat. Well, maybe we can clone her.

I am not hating because I am an Alabama fan, but I believe he is involved in some controversy at the University of Georgia. So vet this one out first. Just advice. If everything pans out go Vince! But check this one out.

5. Here is the controversy...

UGA's President decided not to renew his Atheletic Director's contract - raising the fury of Georgia alum. Now, Dooley support billboards have sprung up here and there and some have decided not to donate to the athletic department anymore.
