1. Actually, no.
You'll have to forgive the Senators from Delaware, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

You see, banking is the largest industry in those respective states. Voting against the bill would be voting against their constituents. Sorry they don't vote in line with the interests of people that do not vote for them, but that's sort of the whole point of the system.

2. No, they are not forgiven....not anymore.
I don't get to vote for them, but I will remember that mine voted for cloture. He is up next year, and he has a lot of proving to do. He voted against our interests on most everything.

4. You're from Florida.
So fine, do whatever you want with your Senator.

Just don't bastardize the ones that actually vote in line with what they feel are the best interests of their constituents.

8. Their CONSTITUENTS are the people
not the banks. This legislation won't ADD people to payrolls! This legislation will cause despair and loss.

10. The banks are the largest employers in the state.
You see the connection, don't you?

9. They are voting against their constituents. It is indefensible.
Sorry. There is no excuse.

11. Well, you vote for whomever you want.
And the people of Delaware, North Dakota, and South Dakota will vote for whomever they want. That's the beauty of the system.

6. I thought they were supposed to represent we, the people
Not them the corporations. I will do everything I can to remind people when Biden begins his inevitable campaign for the nomination in 08. Corporate interests supersede those of the citizens of Delaware? Interesting...
