George & Laura Greet the Foreign Diplomats & Their Wives >>>
Edited on Mon Mar-14-05 09:00 PM by Stephanie

They seem to have better style in Macedonia and Vietnam. As for Albania & Laura I'd call it a draw.

Laura's gotten a little - I don't know - overconfident? A younger woman might hesitate to wear that gown.

4. Pickles appears to be doubly dosed in these photos
glassy-eyed with something resembling a smile frozen on her face.

5. Scary. Same expression in every picture. Her face isn't moving.
Frozen in time?

8. Frozen by extensive cosmetic surgery -- IMO, she's had far too much --
She and her surgeon should be more...conservative.

12. What do you think? Face lift, for sure.
Lipo? She's certainly lost weight one way or another.

13. Oh, don't cha know? She lost that through her weeks of hiking
<wink> ... well, and a little (a lot!) of recovery time from a full face lift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, forehead lift (yep, that's separate), and just perhaps a little tightening and work with the skin and muscles of her neck.

Initial Result = Massive facial bruising requiring at least three weeks to a month recovery time in order to lessen the overt signs ole Laura's been under the knife.

The catty side of me wants to add: Her face was pulled back tighter than a snare drum. Ooops! <blush>

18. You don't need Botox if you go under the knife, but it's costly ...
Her skin has been pulled back and the muscles separated (serrated) in strategic areas so as to not cause those dreaded wrinkles around the corners of the mouth and forehead.

19. botox
paralyzes the facial muscles. that's what i see when i look at pickle's frozen face. of course, she may have had a facelift as well, but botox is certain cheaper and less invasive if one is going that route.

btw, nancy pelosi has been botoxed too.

21. Understood, and I'd agree with Pelosi but not Laura because ...
Remember all those (at least 3-5 weeks) weeks last spring when she was supposedly "hiking in the wilderness"? Translation: She was recovering from major plastic surgery. Her smile seems tight and fixed because her skin's been stretched to da max ... tighter than a drum. LOL

If she had plastic surgery, which I believe all signs were that she did, Botox is not needed. (It's all been stretched cut and smoothed.)

7. The valium haze effect....
<snip>

Withdrawal can be worse than original symptoms
by Kate O'Flaherty

Most tranquillisers and sleeping tablets belong to a group of drugs known as benzodiazepines, which is the name of their general chemical structure.

They are used to treat severe anxiety and insomnia, and are valuable in the short-term treatment of these conditions. As these are sedative drugs, they can impair a person's judgement and memory and their ability to drive safely However, some people can have what is known as a paradoxical reaction to these drugs, and instead become hostile, aggressive or talkative.

<snip>

Anyone coming off these drugs is advised to gradually withdraw the drugs, as coming off them suddenly can cause confusion, convulsions or psychosis. The benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome can last for several weeks or months after a person comes off the drug.

The symptoms may be similar to the original complaint for which the drugs were prescribed, such as insomnia, anxiety and tremors. Often people may continue to take the drugs in the mistaken belief that they are treating these symptoms, when in fact they are relieving their physical withdrawal symptoms.

6. With a little more makeup--
Pickles would look just like the Joker from Batman. The Dubster is definitely checking out Maja's boobs--she is pretty fine, for an ambassador's wife.

14. Pickles looks scary in the first photo
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 10:50 AM by Rob H.
She's gone from "watching the little birdie" straight to the thousand-yard stare of a psychopath.

I think they substituted a wax Pickles lookalike for photos two and three--she looks exactly the same in both of them. Look at the claw thing she's doing with her right hand. It's the same, too!
