What do you say we trick the dicks…..

The suggestion is that April 14th we cut up all our credit cards that allow time payments.

Consider, Reagan oversaw the legislation that disallowed all tax deductions of interest payments for the average American.

Consider, Bush oversaw the legislation that puts the average American in jeopardy of being in debt servitude to greed.

I say, we trick the dicks and cut up all our credit cards that allow time payments, the Master Cards, the Visas…let them know we are not going to become indentured servants to them. Then we start making decisions on the medical community…screw them, we are not going to work all our lives just to enrich them when catastrophe occurs or the end of life is upon us, we are going to select natures way, not the medical communities enrichment plan.

2. Well I certainly hope that if we cannot afford a card (or you have nobody
to help you out) that we be very careful. I cut up cards of mine when I was young. I overspent... they called and upped my limit... I cut up the cards. It is crazy the interest rate. I cannot possibly imagine what it would be like to be say 10,000 behind and trying to dig your way out of it.

Are you saying that the bankruptcy laws have no way to stop the interest at least on a debt? Is it that bad??? Or can you at least declare bankruptcy and then have a limited amount of debt you owe...

4. I'm not sure what you are getting at regarding the medical
community. Should we just not pay for medical insurance and use the doctors anyway? The bills pile up and what? They still can't take out things can they?

What are they going to do about people who can't pay their bills in the future anyway? I'm a little confused about this.

5. I say we stop using the SOBs
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 11:55 PM by The Whiskey Priest
In most cases they are totally worthless...if not deadly, they kill over 80,000 per year through errors...then they want to avoid responsibility throught legislation...they are quacks for the most part...we should just take natures way out...there is a time to die and we should adhere to that time.

6. Good idea, but let's take this further
As it is, Bush is trying to divide this country into the "have and have not" and sending the 95% of us back in time. So, let's beat them at their own game. With the medical, let's start going back to using the home town doctor (if there are any left) and using home remedies, unless it's a life or death situation. We can go back to keeping our cash under the mattress or in the cookie jar; we can go back to using public transport or bike it to work; make the kids "go it alone", i.e. getting themselves to school, unless it's really, really far or a bad neighborhood; and learning to do more things ourselves. Think about it; how much money would it be costing these high priced corporations if we stopped using their services?

So others can simply live….

That is a true moral and ethical value.
