"Ending Corporate Governance" should be one of the three . . .
guiding principles of the Democratic Party today . . . along with repairing the voting process and ending the war in Iraq (and preventing similar atrocities in the future) . . . everything else is subsidiary . . . (except perhaps prosecuting BushCo for their crimes . . . but that will come later) . . .

Social Security, bankruptcy, civil liberties, the economy, education, healthcare and everything else are dependent on resolving these three issues . . . if we don't resolve them, nothing else will matter . . .

(and ending corporate governance cannot be omitted from the list! . . . it may, in fact, be the most crucial issue of all) . . .

1. It should be, but the corruption is deeper than ever before in history.
We've got to expose it!

Refuse Corporatism! Reclaim Democracy!

5. amen
"corporate governance" is fascism. And I'm shocked people haven't been aware of that. But I think, maybe, they may be catching on about now. I hope so.

6. Your timeline is terrific
That's what I think you should encourage people to hand out. It's court cases, not your personal opinion, harder to rationalize.

8. Corporate governance?
Last I knew, the term 'corporate governance' applies to the control of corporations.

I am assuming you refer to the control _by_ corporations, our legalized-corruption-quid-pro-quo-special-interest system.

If so, I agree that it is at the heart of everything that is wrong in this country. Unfortunately, the DNC is submerged to the neck in it.

You'll just have to come up with a name that's not already taken.

9. Ambiguous Wording
A lot of RW'ers would like the idea of "ending corporate governance",
but to them it means letting the corporations run amok (even more).

Corporations need more governance, both by the government, and by
their shareholders.

What we need to end is Corporations Governing Us
and religions governing us.

11. ok . . . if you don't like ending corporate governance, how about . . .
this . . .

"Ending Corporate Personhood" . . .

would accomplish the same thing, and make for some great t-shirts and buttons ("A corporation is NOT a person!") . . .
