Imus thinks they are pulling a "Weekend At Bernie's" stunt with the Pope
Heard him say it a few minutes ago. His little sidekick Bernard jumped up and said "what About Michael Jackson"? "Thats what you should be talking about right now" he said to Imus. Interesting comment by Bernard. Bernard has his RepublicKan talking points down pat.

1. I think they're pulling a "Weekend At Bernie's" stunt with Imus.
Have been since the late 80's.

5. They should have hired a better embalmer--Imus was already half-pickled.
Although the audio-animatronic voice sounds almost normal....

2. I really doubt that
The pope was just seen at Easter in a window, and he tried to talk but couldn't manage it.

He is a very important figure for millions of people, and when he passes away I think it will be widely reported.

10. Widely reported?
That's an understatement. I think that's all we'll see for a month.

9. And his "sidekicks" act like little hero worshippers.
Talk about egomania. I've never understood his appeal. It's like he's the king of his own imaginary kingdom.

11. The first and only time I tuned into Imus' TV show
I actually thought he was using an oxygen tube, the kind that straps under your nose when you're in the hospital to help you breathe. It turned out it was just his earphones, but, based on his deathly ill appearance, I seriously assumed he needed help breathing.
