wow, with all this excitement about terri schaivo, and now the pope
not much talk in the news about insurgents attacking Abu Ghraib, with at least 20 wounded Americans

Now the president want the flag to be at half staff for the pope.

MR. PRESIDENT WHAT ABOUT THE AMERICIANS WHO WERE WOUNDED OR KILLED TODAY IN IRAQ, WHY ISN'T THE FLAG AT HALF STAFF FOR THEM?

WHY IS IT AT HALF STAFF FOR A NON-AMERICAN RELIGIOUS LEADER?

CNN is now the Christian News Network

I am so happy we live in a theocracy like Iraq will soon be

1. The Pope is a head of state
of the Vatican. That is why the flag is at half staff.

2. Don't put the Pope and Schaivo in the same boat
They are two totally different cases.

I guarantee that there are millions of Americans who just as pissed as you are that the Pope is getting this much coverage. Many of the same people who raised hell about Schiavo are fuming over the coverage of the Pope. They considered Catholics to be heathens. Few Catholics got worked up about Schiavo. Yes, Schiavo's parents were Catholic, but Catholic Bishops did not make a fuss about Schiavo.

7. Exactly!
Why must the media find one single story and never let go? There are so many things to talk about, that are just as important.

6. which one, terri or the pope?
not trying to be disrespectful but the Catholic church is indirectly responsible for all the abortions, and spread of STDs in third world Catholic countries, by telling them NOT TO USE BIRTH CONTROL
