maps.google.com

If I can almost look into my window from space as a civilian, why couldn't our govt. see there weren't any WMD's in Iraq? (I know the war wasn't really about WMD's it was about oil and we were going in there no matter what)

Shouldn't someone be held accountable for the deaths of 1549 soldiers and 100,000+ innocent Iraqi civilians? Rumsfeld should've been fired two years ago, and Condi should've never been promoted, she should've been fired as well. Shouldn't someone's head roll for not making sure the Iraqi's have fresh water and electricity? Why hasn't someone been fired because twice as many Iraqi kids are starving to death because we invaded? Where are the cries from the culture of bullshit folks now?

6. They're hidden under a grove of palm trees..
The Bush regime will go down in history as the most corrupt administration ever. Before the invasion of Iraq, I knew there weren’t any WMD's. Reason being we would not have invaded them in the first place if they had WMD's. We would have not put our soldiers in that kind of danger. Look at all the countries we avoid because they do have WMD's. After the first few days of the war, it should have been clear to the brainwashed cons that there weren’t any weapons of mass destruction. What is the reason for having WMD’s in the first place, if you’re not going to use them against an invading army? That should have been a wake up call to the wilfully ignorant, but no instead they chose to believe even a more ridiculous argument that Saddam moved them. Why would, he had moved them? Was he saving them for a rainy day? Cons are not noted for having common sense..

9. you said it, B...We know n.korea and iran got the bomb, and their
programs were advancing and we knew it, yet we invaded Iraq because we thought it would be easy. It's more proof of the fascist nature of the bushies to say we must confront grave and gathering threats. Iraq was neither grave nor gathering, yet NK is beyond grave and gathering and something far far worse: Desperate. We're not going into Iran either because they actually have the bomb, and the sunburn missile. Bush needed a war because 911 had disappeared of the front pages, and Bin Laden disappeared of our radar screen.

as for cons and common sense...with excuses, it's like throwing spaghetti against a fridge, hoping something will stick.

8. oh no..I was using it to illustrate my point that the regime is corrupt
in the true sense of the word, and everyone knew they were lying and they did it anyway, and now it seems that nobody even cares.
