Rumsfeld Offers Saddam A Deal!?!?
http://www.sploid.com/news/2005/05/01/rumsfeld-offers-to-free-saddam-101738.php

"Jerusalem, May 01: US Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld paid a secret visit to former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and offered him freedom and possible return to public life if he made a televised request to armed groups for a ceasefire with allied forces, a media report said."

If this is true things are alot worse than we thought...

2. Can you imagine?
Imagine the cries of "appeasment" and the whining from the neo-con computer-peckers at the think tanks if a Democratic Administration made such an offer to Saddam.

If a democratic president did anything that Bush did they would've been crying and screaming and kicking. What a bunch of assholes. Question: isn't this treason?

5. Well you know Rummy and he are old buds anyway...
.. plus they are probably seeing that they can't do shit to Sad*dam since we raided and occupied HIS country. What did Sad*dam do other than run his country as a ruthless POS dictator, doing the unimagineable to his people which was none of our business to begin with. They probably can't make any accusations stick or even think up crimes he has committed without exposing their ulterior motives which would blow the lid off the illegal invasion/war and make them look stupid.

Either that or it was their intention to let him go all along!

8. Yeah sounded a little fishy to me
as well. There was a link to 2 different articles. Too bad the MSM would never report on this, we'll probably never know the truth.
