if you can't say anything nice about Laura Bush, say it here
laura has always made my flesh crawl, with that faraway maniacal look in her eyes, she sickens me with her fashions, nauseates me with her saccharin induced phony smile, and vacant skull.

she is married to the man i hate most in life, and my hatred of her probably exceeds the republicans hatred of Hillary.

no matter how much the propaganda machine projects a human image onto laura and george, i am not fooled. they are both inhumane monsters. laura has only murdered one person, her husband over 100,000. they are not the couple you'd love to have dinner with, they are pigs.

her attempts at humor the other night come off as ghastly considering the horror behind the scenes. and no matter how many times they trot her out front to make george seem human, i am not fooled. she isn't anymore human than a mother snake.

Totally drugged and unable to cope with the horror of their lives.

Just like Pat Nixon. Just like Betty Ford. There must be more that I'm forgetting.

40. The Story from our pals at Bartcop and Democrats.com...
Was George W. Bush "Involved"
in an Illegal Abortion??

Join the investigation

On CNN's Crossfire on October 20, 2000, Larry Flynt exploded a bombshell: that he has evidence that George W. Bush was "involved in an abortion in Texas" in the early 1970's - when abortions were still illegal.

Here are the details, as reported by Bartcop:

In the winter of 1971 George W. Bush was dating a woman named Robin Lowman (now Robin Garner). Miss Lowman became pregnant by Smirk and he arranged for her to have an abortion - which in the great state of Texas in 1971 was very illegal! Not to mention that George W. is running as a pro-life candidate for the presidency.

The unnamed source of this story, was a friend of Robin Lowman's and the girlfriend of the man who arranged the abortion. His name is Robert Carl Chandler. Chandler is a Bush friend and supporter from way back and he made the arrangements for Miss Lowman's abortion at the Twelve Oaks Hospital in Houston, TX (now the Bayou City Medical Center). The source overheard the call by Mr. Chandler to arrange the abortion and the source visited Robin Lowman at the Twelve Oaks Hospital after the procedure.

The source meanwhile, is afraid of coming forward, saying that she was threatened by Chandler and another Bush friend and supporter named Jim Bath. Bath has longstanding intelligence connections, and played a role in the BCCI scandal. Robin Lowman (now Garner) is married to Jerry Lee Garner who is an FBI agent.

So, that's the story: an illegal back room abortion arranged by the Republican party Presidential candidate who is running on a pro-life ticket.

I have no feelings at all for her.
Any contempt I might feel for her support of the administration is balanced by pity -- Chimpy can't be much of a pleasure to be married to.

My guess is that she uses pharmaceuticals to get through the day -- but maybe that's just projection. I know that's what I'd have to do. (Of course, I'd have cut my hair and hopped a greyhound LONG before walking down the aisle to see Chimpy at the end of it!!!!!)

(they're both human beings, though.)

8. LOL! You seem to have covered it.
My own pet theory is that she was picked for young George by his uber-monster parents and they were able to hold that fatal accident over her head. She was ensnared from the beginning and that vacant stare is the look of a person who gave up long ago. Whatever is left of her, if anything, has retreated to a very very deep place where the Bushes can't reach. The rest of her they have owned for a long time.

Although some of us here find her more boring than dangerous.

Yeah, she taught school for a year or two. Dropped that & went to library school. Did that for a couple of years before she snagged a semi-rich hubby. Quit the job years before the twins arrived & never worked again.

Yet she's presented as a Teacher & Librarian!

And focus on the real criminals in this administration. But they use her as a mouthpiece whenever Bush is in trouble (her comments regarding stem cell research were particularly ill-informed and disturbing) so she draws negative attention to herself - and I don't believe the polls that show her at 80% approval. She's a vapid, slack-jawed pseudo-Queen who has no problem joking or going to expensive parties while ordinary Americans are dying in Iraq or suffering under her husbands' policies.

Laura makes the mistake of preaching morality to us, as she did with her ill-considered stem cell comments - but you know what? When it comes to morality, Laura, I'VE NEVER KILLED SOMEONE WITH MY CAR. I have never feasted from the ill-gotten fruits of stock scams or failed companies that screw the investors, or from picking the pockets of the people of Arlington to finance a stadium for millionaires (and throwing people out of their homes to build it).

She disgusts and appalls me, as all members of the Bush family do. But her brand of "let them eat cake" zeitgeist is particularly disturbing, because the press treats her as so benign. She isn't.

People talk about her killing an ex-boyfriend when she ran a stop sign. I say there were extenuating circumstances. Here she is with her driving instructors, Vince and Larry:

Her daughters were raised to display such dignity and grace:

Plus she's just such a spiffy dresser and has personally done so much for our country, heck the entire world, in the last few years...

38. all I can say is -- wow
I hadn't noticed Cherie Blair's hand propping her up in that second photograph - and notice how graceful Mrs. Blair is in the face of this shameless display of public intoxication.

I'd almost ask - why did they let her out in public this way? - but I know the answer. These photos would never see the light of day if not for sites such as this. I certainly didn't see them in the MSM, and I read three daily newspapers.

I'm still just, like, wow - she's completely smashed in those photos, and not just loaded hanging around the White House nipping on George's scotch, but at a meeting of this magnitude with world leaders. It's stunning. It's just always some kind of hillbilly behavior with these two.

and her daughters are a mess: slovenly, rude, lacking taste or style, and
directionless most likely. It will be interesting to see what those two
do with their college degrees. My prediction: nothing. They will fool around
until they find some similar rich, directionless young man to marry.

Laura is so similar to Nancy Reagan: the vacant gaze, and the "stand by

43. She's an American Marie Antoinette.
In the doctors office the other day, I was reading a puff piece about her in the "Ladies Home Journal". Although, the writer was trying to praise her, she paints a picture of a vapid woman, who might as well be locked in an ivory tower, for all she cares about anyone around her except her immediate family.

Her main attention revolves around the dog Ms. Beasley. Ms. Beasley's naps are not to be interrupted, nor is anyone to disturb the dog for any reason. I wonder if she cares as much about an Iraqi or Afghani baby's nap who is caught in crossfire or who has to listen to bombs all night?

She talks about the challenge of raising her daughters and how they turned out all right and what they were doing now. This was about the time the "butt dance" video with Jenna down dancing on all fours came out. She said one was teaching, and that is not true. Does she have a clue what her kids are doing? Does she care?

When the peasants were storming the Bastille, Marie Antoinette was producing little plays at the palace, with herself cast in one of the actresses roles. Another woman who comes to mind is Eva Braun, who spent her time buying clothes, going to the beauty shop, skiing and making little movies (she was a photographer by profession) and in general living it high.

When she moved into the bunker with Hitler in the last days, she still found the time and resources to be well-groomed and well dressed, while ordinary Germans were going without food and water as the allies pushed in.

So who is she? Marie Antoinette or Eva Braun. You decide. However, like them she is a passive person, who doesn't care about anyone but herself. The rest of us be damned.

good grief--the secrets Tony Blair must hold. And Bush pointing at the camera, while grabbing her neck and pulling down her jacket. We have a bunch of drunks in the WH and these photos of Laura, cancel out every bit of marketing done, presenting/marketing her as the dutiful wife---ever notice that she walks always behind him by a few steps to allow the cameras to get his picture. She is always walking behind him.

And I conclude that she is drunk when she dresses herself--she cannot look into a mirror without seeing a double image and that accounts for the slobby way she dresses--she got a new haircut that was a little more complimentary and in a couple of days, is back to her shellac hair do with a huge bump on the crown.

Here is how she dressed when she "stole the show" with her pornographic references A slob--nothing but a slob and her daughters reflect that slobbery--that is how they were raised--by not one, but possibly, two drunks.

http://us.news3.yimg.com/img.news.yahoo.com/util/anysize/380,http%3A%2F%2Fus.news2.yimg.com%2Fus.yimg.com%2Fp%2Fap%2F20050501%2Fcapt.dcev10105010233.evan_vucci_dcev101.jpg?v=1
