What would you say if faced with the Bush twins?
There was an incident with Alex Kerry during the campaign, when she thought she could move around incognito. The problem was, the group of Republicans she headed for knew her. They called her father a baby killer to her face etc. She ended up going to her dad in tears.

I would hope we'd be better behaved if faced with Bush's kids.

5. If I came face to face with the Bush twins I would probably be in a bar
and I would probably be tempted to say, "So when are you going to show your ultimate support for your dad's war by enlisting and going to Iraq instead of partying all the time?" I'm not sure I would actually do it, but that is what I would like to say.

24. I'd be careful
if I were in a bar with 'em.

I think they'd try to flirt with ya at first, then run off and have someone else pay the tab.

12. Friendly,respectful detachment is a long-lost art.
It appears that the DU reaction would be mixed, although I am heartened by several responses here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x3586555

It would be difficult, but I work in city government, and I have trained myself how to deal with people I intently disagree with but are owed respect.

And they have learned to deal with me as well.

17. I probably let you down.
Would I really say such things? No. I'm not that brave. And I don't want Secret Service throwing me into an unmarked jail cell. BUt I am so damn mad and am a very emotional person. That is why I generally just keep my mouth shut or don't go to places that I know I'll have trouble controlling myself.

13. I don't think I could be better behaved.
Edited on Mon May-02-05 07:21 PM by Kerrytravelers
I think your family is the worse thing that ever happen to this country. Your father is a mass murder. Will you ever wipe the blood off your hands?

I'd also beg for them not to breed. We don't need the * dynasty to continue. Haven't enough generations around the world been destroyed?

But, I really don't think I'd ever get that close to the * twins. The Secret Servie would have me removed for booing loudly.

34. I'd be nice and tell them I'm glad I got to meet them
Why get political? I'd express some sympathy for their having to grow up in a fishbowl, with everyone watching everything they did. Which is pretty much how I feel about them. I might not like their dad's politics, but they're his kids and they love him. I'm a better person than whatever idiot told Kerry's daughter that her father is a baby-killer.

Being obnoxious would get me arrested by their Secret Service guys, anyways, in addition to it being just unnecessay and wrong.

I don't think kids should be blamed for what their parents do.
