I heard this on AAR the other day.

1. Springer was hooking a woman up with a suitably liberal male.

2. Umm, it's not very good. Mostly because of the limited number

of people who are registered there. The site itself is okay. For example, there are only four or five men listed in my area who are even close to my age. Now that I think about it, maybe that is the problem. Maybe I am one of the few surviving Democrats in my age group left in this area!

People don't understand. They think what is going on is just politics as usual. If you try to bring them up to speed, you are just a bu$h basher. It can't happen here because this is America.
I can't talk about religion. I can't talk about politics.
Them: "This is god's country and bu$h is a a good president."
Me: "Ya, sure. Maybe if you paid more attention to politics, you'd understand why your business is struggling so."

4. A Democratic singles Meetup group might be a good idea.

I don't know that it would attract enough people to make it worth doing. Has anyone ever tried this in a Red state?

a Dating Forum. I am for it. Maybe I could find someone with in several hours driving.

11. Springer is doing fine

You couldn't pay me to watch his television show but I really enjoy his AAR broadcasts.

I hope that he will bring some of his fan base into the party. This is not an elitist club. The party needs to get off its high horse and converse with normal people.
