Why the cane, Rummie?

I believe this picture is from when Karimov, the dictator from Uzbekistan, visited the US for meetings at the WH and the Pentagon with Rummie and Bush during March, 2002.

Notice in Rummie's left hand he is using a stainless steel cane? I don't want to get my hopes up, but could there be something physically wrong with the ol' boy?

4. He's a lot more frail then he looks on TV.

I saw him while vacationing with my family in the Chesapeake Bay. He's a lot smaller and very weak looking in person. I posted previously that he looks not unlike a lizard when viewed up close.

I wouldn't doubt if he's taken a fall of some sort.

10. The decor in that room doesn't look American.
It looks like a room in a former palace.
