48. Yes.
Actually, per my faith, God wouldn't care. In Religious Science (New Thought), we believe that God is within and that we are all equally divine - so singling Booosh out certainly wouldn't make sense.

I can't think of a faith in which singling him out as a mini-God would make sense.

Do you believe God belongs in government?
Do you believe President Bush is doing The Lord's Work?

If so, then show your love for God & the USA!

A portion of every purchase goes to Compassion.com, a group dedicated to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

If this country's legislature and judiciary are supposed to reflect the values and beliefs of The People, then send them a message that they are WAY off course!

If you are tired of secularists telling you that The Lord has no place in our government and our public institutions, then show them that you disagree.

This symbol, this site, and this car magnet have been created for the millions of Americans who support the President and his vision for a government that embraces religion, morality, and family values. It shows worship to the Lord, respect for the President, and hope for all.

Join the millions of Americans who believe that President Bush’s faith-based administration presents the best hope for America’s future. The future is in your hands. Stand up and be counted!

Order a BushFish for yourself or a loved one today.

God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

12. My message to bushfish.org
I have one small problem with your religious symbol: THE SECOND COMMANDMENT.

Exodus 20:2-3 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.

What possible reason, besides money grabbing or supporting an anti-Christ, would you have to promote such a blastfamous symbol?

I would appreciate a reply.

If/when they reply it will be posted here.

13. I thought you were kidding!
But since you weren't, I sent them an e-mail telling them Bush isn't a moral man and that they need to read Revelation 6.

Bush being an end-timer is okay by me. I mean, if he wanted to go into private life right now, stand on a street corner with a big sign that says THE END IS NEAR and recruit souls for Jayzus, that's perfectly fine.

Bush being an end-timer with the authority to bring about the end of the world is a different story. I don't approve of that at all.

14. It looks like a bomb not a fish and why ORANGE?
Edited on Mon May-16-05 10:07 AM by IChing
is the flag orange and not red? Notice black and orange is used

The psychological imprinting of this is that god is under bush, in the way it's presented.

ORANGE.
Positive: Physical comfort, food, warmth, security, sensuality, passion, abundance, fun.
Negative: Deprivation, frustration, frivolity, immaturity.

Since it is a combination of red and yellow, orange is stimulating and reaction to it is a combination of the physical and the emotional. It focuses our minds on issues of physical comfort - food, warmth, shelter etc. - and sensuality. It is a 'fun' colour.

Negatively, it might focus on the exact opposite - deprivation. This is particularly likely when warm orange is used with black. Equally, too much orange suggests frivolity and a lack of serious intellectual values.

25. That's just fucking frightening!!
You know.. I wonder why every time I'm confronted with someone who hollers how Christian and conservative they are, I later learn that they one of the following: 1) scamming people for money in the name of Jesus 2) egomanical control-freak who gets off on telling other people what to do, under the guise of Jesus 3) involved in some felonious or repugnant sexual activitiy 4) a total hypcrite.

I'd file these bozos under #1. Scamming for the Lord. Any wonder why we have seen a proliferation of Christian-based phone service, debt counseling, internet providers, repair shops, etc... scamming for the Lord. I'm pretty sure Jesus was against that. But hey, what do I know? I'm not one of the blessed. :eyes:

27. Jesus and the founding fathers
must be rotating in their graves, or up in heaven, or wherever. If God belongs in government, why isn't he mentioned in the constitution? If God is omnipotent/omniscient/omnipresent, isn't he already in government--and everything else? Isn't the very suggestion that God isn't o/o/o blasphemous? Isn't the suggestion that Bush rules by Divine Right profoundly un-American--a direct contradiction of everything this country is supposed to stand for?
