Now I've heard it all ........
Rumsfield just spoke live on CNN about the Newsweek story "People have lost their lives" ..... "People need to be careful about what they say"
:wtf: .... damn it's noon, I need a drink. What a nut-case. Since when did he ever care about human life? This is going to be one crazy week. :argh:

1. People need to be careful about what they do, like invade countries
that had no reason to be invaded. Take responsibility Rumsfeld, this is your doing, yours, Cheney, and Bush as your front man....

2. Then he should shut up
He and Bush and crew are the ones who keep egging on the insurgency by claiming they are just a bunch of deadenders with no support who will be wrapped up in a matter of months after every faux milestone.

5. Shades of Ari "I'm Ratface's Bitch" Fleischer
Remember his "warning" to people about being careful what they say?

Big bitch never heard of free speech until he wrote his book - which, I believe, tanked.

9. Oh come now
It's one thing if we end those lives ourselves. It's an outrage if the liberal media is THE CAUSE. That bastion of truth and non-cheering for Bush, Newsweek. Oh yes-that one.

Also-if people die over the truth-bad. Lies-good. This is the whole playbook. The don't care that Abu Gharib happened-they care that it was REPORTED. Reporting of truth is an insult to the manipulation of democracy, afterall.

And if the truth comes out-blame the source and deny deny deny.

16. Did you just see that?
MSNBC asks ..... "Is Newsweek's apology enough?" is that going up on their website as a poll question? I just caught the tail end of it. Seems the exact same wording of that FOX poll a week or two ago which asked "Is Air America's apology enough?" when Randi Rhodes had that Radio skit. Unfricking believable !!!!

18. "People need to be careful about what they say"
Some of these are paraphrased

"WMD! WMD! Iraq has WMD"

"I think the case for WMD is a slam dunk"

"We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud"

"Bring it on!" (Bush to the Insurgents, one should note though that Bush is 1000's of miles away from the Conflict)

"Judges will pay" (Tom DeLay)

"We need to blow it up" (Pat Robertson, referring to the State Department)

"I think Mohammed was a terrorist" (Jerry Falwell, this also resulted in riots, the Bush Administration DID NOT demand an apology from him)
