Commander Cuckoo Bananas

I think it's important that we address our fearless leader by his proper title. Addressing him as a mere "Mister" does not show proper respect for all his spectacular achievements in life.

In addition, the writers of The Simpsons carefully crafted the Quip "COMMANDER Cuckoo Bananas" to contain three comedy "K" sounds.
(And using the classical "banana" insures its place in world history as perhaps the most flawless of comedy gems.)

So, let's be sure to nip this "MISTER" stuff in the bud. While many have pointed out that Cuckoo Bananas proper title is "Commander", many more are still using the improper title, which is somewhat disrespectful to the leader of the free world.

But seriously folks, all this reminds me of an extra feature in the DVD of "The Producers"; Mel Brooks talks about the "Springtime for Hitler" segment of the movie and says something about facing--um, shall we say, governmental wrong-doing--by mocking it. If anyone knows the exact quote, please post it here.

And yes, this entails a certain amount of "name-calling". Oh well, comedy isn't pretty because all too often reality itself is pretty dog-faced.
