Why outsource when we can get cheap labor here?
(note : the following is meant as sarcastic)

Question: Why should companies keep their businesses here when they can get cheap labor overseas?

Well we can fix that, can't we?

Why should the US outsource when we have plenty of cheap labor here at home? Look at 'all those Mexican doing work nobody else will do'. They are as cheap as labor gets over here. We can start a whole industry based off the blood of these people.

The first step is getting the Minutemen to capture those who are crossing illegally. Let's face it, some of these people will end up in NY sweat shops anyway, so why not make a whole industry out of it so jobs stay here?

After we have captured these caravans we can process the people and have an auction. Businesses can buy as many of these 'citizens' as they want. The US government will make money on that end as well as making money on the end of payments going into social security. And since these folks aren't really citizens, (translate citizens to mean 'people') we can treat them anyway we want and they will reap the benefits of the system. Who can they complain to?

Think of all the money the companies will make using cheap labor. Pretty soon there will only be corporate white collar jobs for Americans - the only type of job they really want anyway! Oh sure there are only so many of the white collar jobs available to the public but who needs to worry about that, right?

What is my point?

I guess I started this out just trying to be funny and kind of stating a very tame modest proposal, but there are feelings behind what I wrote.

Well, I am tired of these jobs being outsourced (big or small jobs). If our government truly cared about us then they would tax those who outsource very hard. They would give extra incentives to our citizens. Pretty soon there will not be enough jobs for our citizens to even get by. Some would argue there are already not enough jobs.

I am tired of the racism, overt or not. Give the jobs to the Mexicans, they will do any type of work, even jobs we feel we are too good for. So now Mexicans are the dogs getting the scraps at the table? And I love how some people justify it by saying that they pay into the system and get no benefits. This is alright? Businesses get a break since they will not have to pay as much to illegals. A business can have any sort of conditions they want because an illegal can not complain. We get the money paid into our social security fund so that our government can spend it any way they want and replace it with an I.O.U.. These people are not subhuman. They are just like the rest of us. If the government truly wanted everything to be on the up and up, they would make these people legal but then businesses would be up in arms because more money would have to be paid in the form of salaries.

Our government does not care about Mexicans. Our government does not care about us and a loss of jobs overseas. The only thing they care about is lining their greasy palms with cash no matter that it is a detriment to the whole country.

What happened to patriotism? What happened to looking after our country with incentives? What happened to us? At one time there would have been a huge outrage that our government was not looking out for our best interests.

What I wrote in the first part of this post is no more ridiculous than what the government is doing to us right now. They are letting illegals in just to take advantage of them. They are screwing us by not clamping down on outsourcing.

Where have you gone Joe Dimaggio.........
