My advice: don't try to flush Vanity Fair.
New Republic and Weekly Standard fit nicely.

6. No... I feel bad for them
Edited on Mon May-16-05 06:05 PM by Tinoire
I feel bad for them, very bad, but I bear them no animosity. Not in an age where almost all of my political representatives caved in on this war long ago. They caved in on Abu Ghraib too. Why would I bear animosity to Newsweek for having held out longer than they did?

The whole thing is very sad but it shows you how much of a mess we're in and how much we've been let down by the politicians who were supposedly representing us. Had they represented us, we wouldn't be talking about torture, Korans, dead kids, depleted uranium. Naw, my problem is not with Newsweek. I'm sorry they caved in but they're following a long tradition these days.

I'm angrier at the traitors who pretend to be on my side and take money for it.

Don't think I'm happy with Newsweek but I'm not angry.

Sad, sad day for America.
