It looks like the RW won the media battle again

What's leading all the evening news reports tonight? Is it the British memo? No, it's how Newsweek has been forced by Bush to do a full retraction on the Koran flushing incident. I can guarantee that no reporter will ask about all the other reports that this actually happened, including reports from British prisoners. I personally have no doubt that the guards at Gitmo abused the Koran. If they can torture humans a la Abu Ghraib then flushing the Koran down a toilet would be child's play. The RW has now blacklisted Newsweek in the same way that they got Dan Rather. Don't question the veracity of the reports, just go after the messenger.

And what will become of the Downing Street memo? I'm guessing that we've heard the last of it in the "liberal media." Bush and the RWer's have won again.

As an amusing side note, Scott McClennan said that reports from other prisoners can't be trusted because they are trained to mislead. Gee, Scotty, kind of like you?
