In a stunning reversal, Time Magazine today retracted an exclusive story that reported that effluents emitted by House Majority Whip Tom Delay were the primary source of Global Warming.

The White House said that the retraction was ‘a step in the right direction’, but wouldn’t rest until all charges against Mr. Delay were dropped and ‘the Global Warming nonsense’ was removed from all further environmental coverage.

While media observers did not go as far as the White House, most agreed that the retraction has 'fatally flawed' the credibility of both stories.
