"People are dying! People are DEAD!" : Rummy spanking Newsweek
IMO, that was the most nauseating quote in the presser. The "be careful what they say..." was predictable. But his sudden compassion for our Muslim brethren was very touching. :wow:

I saw that too. Almost brings a tear to my eye, he was so
sincere. As was Kinda Sleazy. :sarcasm:

I am so sick of these people. OT, I saw a big pickup today with one of those Calvin 'pissing' decals that had the Calvin, or whoever it is, pissing on Republicans. I pointed it out to my kids, my son starts 'Mom, don't put that on the car, someone will shoot you'. What a world.

3. Ease up on Rummy. He lost a relative at Dachau.
One of his uncles got drunk and fell out of a guard tower.

10. Ah, but he never
denies that it happened, does he?

Geez...Rummy, any other time you would just call this
another unfortunate, unavoidable part of defending
democracy.

I truly wish someone with balls would stand up to this
administration. Absolute proof of many of their crimes
has to exist. Are those in the know afraid for their
lives, or just enjoying their payoffs to keep quiet?

14. The Spring Fighting Season
http://news.independent.co.uk/world/asia/story.jsp?story=638522

Very interesting story about the 'spring fighting season' in Afghanistan. Apparently this happens each year...when the snow melts and the mountains become passable.

Vilifying Newsweak is just another rovian stunt.

16. Afghanistan has been heating up for a while now...
The Taliban is making a comeback and the U.S. has seen fatalities there recently. With most of our military caught up in Iraq, Afghanistan could turn into another huge problem for Bush and Co. Who better to blame it on than a weekly news magazine?

NOT! Let's hope the State Department continues its investigation. This SO reeks of this administration and their interrogation tactics. To hear them talk about "being careful what they say" beats all gall.

19. Rummy needs to be stripped naked, his head in a sack, smeared in
feces, attached to wires, attacked by a dog,set atop a human pyramid, forced to simulate oral sex on Bush, beaten, stitched up by the unqualified and all on camera...while at the front lines without body armor in Iraq.....and then Rummy can speak about the damage words can cause....until then? He can shut the fuck up.
