O'Reilly has replaced Hannity as the worst in my book.

I used to scorn Hannity the most because he's such an obvious pander, a tool and an apologist for Bush, all the while affecting a "working class" demeanor. But O'Reilly sells himself as someone who is truly objective. He also pretends to be "ordinary folks," but the smelliest thing about him is his "I look at both sides" act. The second smelliest thing is his arrogance.

5. They are both a couple of right wing entertainers

just wanting you to patronize them. They have nothing to do with truth, they are just like Savage, and the rest of the right with, high paid entertainers. Think of it this way, they think of you as matrons, and they are going to do a strip dance and they want your Lynn Cheney dollar bills. 2. Hannity can never be replaced for me

Not after listening to him shout "Did he shoot him in the back!? Did he shoot him in the back!?" regarding Kerry and the vietcong with the grenade launcher.

The way he shouts down everyone. That "Lou Costello in Hell" face of his. His insistance that he represents good wholesome values ("Deliver Us From Evil" and all that) while not seeing a problem with hating and gloating and being a smug ass.

8. Hannity can never be eclipsed

While both are nasty ol O'Liely has that crazy reckless make shit up as you go along thing that I must say cracks me up on a regular basis. Also, the knowledge that O'Reilly goes to bed each night thinking about about what Franken said the other day gives me comfort. Hannity, I despise him most of all (although if any DC resident knows what I'm talking about I hold Chris Core in equal disdain recently). In summation while both are disturbing and frightening for this country, Oreilly makes me laugh my ass of while Hannity makes me pound my fist into the wall. Don't know why this is but it is my reaction.

There's something so maddening about Hannity - perhaps he's the archetype of the smug jock from high school that just pissed you off, although it was unacceptable to call him out because he was backed by the establishment. In any case, I won't lose my scorn and derision of him just because I'm now so enraged by O'Reilly.
