"Schiavo's case sparked outrage at the Vatican, which compared the court to an executioner who "arbitrarily brought forward" the date of her death.

At their meeting on Tuesday, Martino commended the Roman Catholic Schindlers' ongoing efforts to "defend life and the concept of a natural death." "

How does having a feeding tube plugged into you define as anything natural? The only reason that Terri was alive for 15 years was NOT God's doing but Man's. Had the Schindlers/Schiavos not have had finanicial means to keep Terri alive (aka, if Terri was a black baby in a Houson hospital), then Man probably would have not intervened and Terri's natural death would have occured about 15 years ago.

Geez, I hate this fucking propaganda! :grr:

1. Pisses me off, too....
For the exact same reason. All the people who were going on about leaving it 'in God's hands'.... well, in God's hands only would mean that she would have died when she had the heart attack, not had her 'life' prolonged unnaturally for years and years and years. </rant>

2. Isnt a natural death just what she had???
Last i checked, feeding tubes are an artificial way to feed oneself where one can not put fork into mouth...

3. as long as the "church" rewards
their child molesters across the world they have no moral authority to say anything. it`s members are just as guilty by not standing up to the church and demanding justice for the innocent. they would have nailed jesus to the cross if they were in power and the congregation would have been chanting "crucify him"...
